Longtime MVEC Board President, Martin E. Garcia Passes Away

  Mercedes, TX: 11/10/2022: Magic Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC) Board President, Martin Enrique Garcia II (DVM) peacefully passed away on November 6, 2022. A graduate of Texas A&M University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Garcia joined the MVEC Board of Directors on July 3, 1972, and represented the Cooperative’s District 1 which encompasses Raymondville, Lyford, Linn, San Manuel, San Isidro, and parts of North Edinburg.  In 2001, Garcia was elected as MVEC Board President and served in that role until his passing.
