Mercedes, TX: 08/18/2021: Magic Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC) Board Member Nila Wipf passed away August 17, 2021. Ms. Wipf joined the MVEC Board in 2011 and represented the Cooperative’s District 3, which encompasses North Harlingen, Northwest Cameron County and East Central Hidalgo County. Ms. Wipf served on the board of directors for ten years. "Nila was a dedicated MVEC member and board member," said general manager John Herrera.
