Energy Star Rebate- Major Appliances and Thermostats
The Energy Star Rebate offers incentives for qualifying Energy Star Appliances and thermostats installed in existing homes served by MVEC from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements. Energy Star Qualified Rebate.
Must be ENERGY STAR qualified appliance.
The application must be submitted online within 30 days of purchase.
To receive a rebate please attach an itemized and dated invoice from the retailer with the completed rebate form.
Energy Star Guide MUST BE included for the refrigerator, clothes washer, and dryer.
Refrigerators $50, Must be larger than 10 cu. ft. - 1 per household. - Account needs to be active for a minimum of 1 year.
Clothes washer and dryer $35 - 1 of each per household. - Account needs to be active for a minimum of 1 year.
Thermostats $25, must have value greater than $40, excluding tax. - 2 per household. - Rebate cannot be combined with Nest Thermostat Rebate.
Rebates are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis until funds earmarked for the program are depleted or the program is terminated. The terms and conditions of the Program are subject to change without notice. Rebate forms must be received within thirty (30) days of purchase to qualify for rebate.
